Appenzell Cattle Dogs

Appenzell Cattle Dogs, the “dogs dog” if you will. Sheryl Green sent me this picture, along with many others to share. This one was my favorite of the bunch and I just had to share it. Aren’t they all just absolutely adorable? I was even willing to change the picture format a little bit just so I could put this picture in.
Appenzell Cattle Dogs don’t appear to be recognized by the AKC, but are recognized by other groups. They’re friendly, intelligent, and extremely active, apparently needing lots of exercise and love. The more I read about them, the more I think I need to have one in the neighborhood so they can run my Sheepdog ragged!
