Hannah the Husky

This is my neighbor’s dog. She barks to say hello every time we come home until I go over to the fence and offer her my hand to pet her. She’s a good dog, and fun to tease as we leave. “Yes, Hannah, we hear you barking. We’re very afraid of you.” She doesn’t appreciate being patronized.

Hannah’s a bit husky for a Husky, but her owner realizes it and is working on getting her more exercise and less food. She’s a great dog and super friendly. Like all Huskies, she has a lot of energy, and you can often see her through our fence, running back and forth, playing a game I’ve come to call “Chase Your Own Shadow.” It’s where you, well, I think you get the picture.
