Chuck Me Baby, One More Time

Puggle
Click for full size

I think the title says it all today. Remember Chuck? Well, he decided to stop by and say hello again. He’s already one of our Cutest Pooch winners, so he knows you like him. I think he just wanted more love heaped on him. So heap on the love for this cute little Puggle!

The Emmett

I’ve recently learned that when I showed Emmett before, I was getting his name wrong! He’s not just Emmett, he is “The Emmett” as you’ll see if you look through the pictures from The Doggie Playhouse*. You’ll see him everywhere because he’s such a photogenic and well-behaved pooch!

I mean, just look at him! He’s not taking a bath right now. Oh, no. He’s getting ready to greet his adoring public!

Kelli, from The Doggie Playhouse submitted this photo, and I knew it had to go up because I was laughing out loud the moment I saw it. Kelli and her staff are fantastic with the dogs (we send our girls to the daycare every Friday so they can get out their energy and play with their friends), and I’m really happy to have them helping me come up with cool pictures like this one.

*Actually, that’s only one of 6 very large albums of absolutely gorgeous pups. To see the other albums, go check out their main page, linked above, or follow the links through the photobucket account, also linked above!

Chuck, the Puggle

Chuck, the puggle

Recently I put out a call for pictures of the cutest dog in the world. Jill Bowman was the first to answer this call, and I have to say, her puggle, Chuck, is absolutely adorable, and his cuteness will melt your brain. Just look at him as he sleeps soundly, probably dreaming about cute stuff. Isn’t he awesome?

Now, Jill has this to say about her cool little pooch:

I’m POSITIVE that my pooch is the cutest around!! His name is Chuck and he’s a puggle (half pug / half beagle). He’s an awesome little 30 pounder who loves the outdoors or to snuggle in bed with his family. He lives up to his name, Chuck, and just looks and acts like a Chuck!

Now, I’m not sure what a Chuck acts like, but if it’s anything like this Chuck then all I can say is that dog is even more awesome. If not? That’s okay, he’s still awesome. Keep your eyes peeled for him, because Jill sent a few other photos that will just have to be posted, because they’re adorable.

Think your dog is cuter? You already have some tough competition. Send in your submission to jeremiah@thepoochpage.com!

Thanks Jill!

Emmett the Goldendoodle

Emmit the Goldendoodle needs a haircut!

Is Emmett in need of a haircut, or a good brush out?

No!

It’s all about the lighting. In this picture I didn’t use a flash, and somehow it made it look as though this big fluff ball was a shaggy dog. In reality he’s very well groomed and fluffy. If you look at yesterday’s post you’ll see a big difference in the pictures.

I’m still learning about taking dog pictures, but I have to say that Emmett was probably one of the most well-behaved dogs to date. He would look right at me, and seemed to pose for the camera. It’s only fair that I give him the proper lighting he deserves!

Emmett

Emmit the dog is famous!

This is Emmit the Goldendoodle. Isn’t he precious? Apparently lots of people think so! His owner is always being asked if people can take Emmit’s picture, and Emmit’s even appeared in the news a few times!

I think this is the first time I’ve ever had a celebrity on my website. Good thing I got the lighting right!

Tomorrow, I’ll show you what my picture looked like without the proper lighting. Let’s just say that it made it look as though Emmit needed a really good combing.

Puggle!

You know why they call them “Puggles*?”

Because “Bug” just didn’t sound right.

*Puggles are a cross between Pugs and Beagles. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

Puggles

Pug Beagles. Strange mix.
Click for full size

I can’t imagine the day that someone said “You know what? I’m going to take a Beagle, and a Pug, and see what happens.”

I can’t imagine someone saying that about any Pug, to be honest! I mean, Pugs are known for being the dog that’s “so ugly it’s cute,” and so they’re going to try to make another breed with similar features? Let alone, give it a long nose!?

I think lots of alcohol was involved that day. That’s what I think.

Still, the end result was cute enough, I have to admit.
