This is my neighbor’s dog, Hannah. She sounds really mean when you’re walking up my driveway, but I often walk over to the fence and make funny noises at her, at which point she allows me to pet her and take her picture. She’s just a big baby!

MaiTai is not a fan of getting her picture taken. My dog likes to run and hide, or play coy with the camera. She’s not scared of the flash, or anything; she just would rather any attention she’s given be in the form of actually petting her or playing with her. Pointing a box at her and clicking it just doesn’t do it for her.

Any time I try to take a picture of my girls, I get down on the ground so I can take a picture from their level; I’ve been told it usually makes for a better picture than shots from human eye-level.

Of course, me being down on my knees at their level makes them curious as to what I’m doing, so I get this effect more often than not.

But hey, that’s okay. It’s a pretty good picture if I do say so myself.
